Graphic Designer
You're exceptionally talented, have great design ideas, work at the speed of light and are able to meet strict deadlines. Your attention to detail is unparalleled, you are a fanatic about perfection. Specific skills and knowledge should include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FLASH and HTML experience, and be very knowledgeable in print production.
A strong design eye for typography, color, layout, and photo manipulation is necessity. You should be a team player, able to work with all HALIGHT team members. You should be well organized in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. You'll work on multiple projects under light design supervision, communicate clearly, respond to constructive feedback from the team and other designers, and be able to provide constructive criticism and feedback on other projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide creative solutions to problems
- Contribute new ideas and show initiative
- Efficient execution of online design and print projects
- Development of collateral materials such as ads, mailers, newsletters, etc.
- Creation of presentations
- Contribute to design and development process of HALIGHT projects
Experience Requirements:
- Excellence in Layout, graphics concepts
- Experience designing for print and web
- Expert working knowledge of HTML, Flash, and related multimedia design applications, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Strong skill set in Windows (File Management, MS Office...)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables and deadlines; ability to work with little supervision
- Knowledge of printing process to help achieve high quality finished artwork.
- Self-motivated, and adaptable to changing environment/role
Education Requirements
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing or Related field
Past Experience
You will be requested to provide samples of your work. Pieces that show a solid understanding of corporate design are essential.
